What EZ Gel is

A soft gel made
from your own plasma

EZ Gel begins with a simple blood draw. We spin it slowly to separate the platelet-poor plasma, then heat that plasma to around seventy-five degrees and cool it rapidly. The heat denatures the albumin, the most abundant protein in your plasma, and as it cools it sets into a smooth gel with roughly the consistency of a soft hyaluronic acid filler.

The gel is then placed much like a filler. It restores volume immediately, integrates with the surrounding tissue, and because the albumin has been denatured it resists breakdown for considerably longer than standard platelet-rich fibrin, typically nine to twelve months rather than a few weeks.

What makes it special is its purity. No hyaluronic acid, no cross-linking agent, no lidocaine, no preservative, no manufactured product. Only your own protein, gently restructured. It also carries the growth factors of standard PRF, so it refreshes skin quality while it restores volume.

How EZ Gel is made

From a simple draw

The whole process happens during your appointment, which is why this treatment takes a little longer than a standard PRF session.

A blood draw

Slightly larger than for standard PRF, since we need enough plasma to work with. Arriving well hydrated makes a real difference to the yield.

Slow spin to separate plasma

Centrifuged to separate the platelet-poor plasma, the layer richest in albumin. No anticoagulant is added at any stage.

Heating to about 75°C

The plasma is heated in a controlled device. The heat denatures the albumin, unfolding the protein structure, which is the step that makes the gel possible.

Rapid cooling into a gel

Cooled quickly, the denatured albumin sets into a viscous gel with roughly the consistency of a soft hyaluronic acid filler. Denatured albumin also resists breakdown, which is why this lasts far longer than standard PRF.

Injection

Placed like a filler, with a cannula in the tear trough and temples and a fine needle where precision matters. Volume is restored immediately, and the growth factors keep refreshing skin quality over the following weeks.

How to prep & what to expect in the first week

Hydration matters

  • Drink plenty of water the day before and the morning of your visit. Plasma yield depends on it, and a good draw means more gel.
  • Eat a proper meal beforehand. Having a blood draw and injections on an empty stomach can leave you feeling faint.
  • Allow at least three weeks before any event, as EZ Gel swells a little more firmly than filler in the first few days.
  • If medically appropriate and cleared by your physician, stop blood thinners, NSAIDs, fish oil and vitamin E for 48 hours.
  • Tell us about any platelet or bleeding disorder, anemia, or recent illness.
  • Allow a little extra time, as this appointment runs longer than a filler visit because of the processing.
  • Let us know if you are pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding. We'll plan your EZ Gel treatment for a later time.
