What causes hair thinning?
The most common cause is pattern hair loss, where follicles gradually shrink and produce finer hair. Hormonal changes, stress, illness, nutrition and some medications can also cause shedding or thinning.
PRF works best for early to moderate thinning where follicles are still active. Sudden or patchy hair loss, or loss with scalp symptoms, should be assessed by your physician or a dermatologist first.
