How the face changes, and why we plan as a whole
Facial aging happens in three layers. Muscles create lines with movement, fat and bone lose volume so features look flatter or heavier, and skin loses collagen, tone and texture. Treating only one layer can leave the others looking out of balance.
A whole-face plan addresses each layer in the right order, usually restoring structure first, then softening lines and refining the skin.
Movement
Botox, Dysport and Daxxify soften lines from expression.
Volume
Fillers, Sculptra and PRF EZ Gel restore support.
Skin
SkinPen, VI Peel and medical-grade skincare refine texture and tone.

Full-face plans are often spread over several visits. Your nurse practitioner sets out the order and total at consultation.
What to expect
- Before
Complimentary consultation
A board-certified nurse practitioner assesses the area in relation to your whole face, explains your options and prices, and answers your questions.
- Day of
Treatment
Most injectable appointments take under an hour. Numbing is used where it helps, and you can return to most normal activities the same day.
- First two weeks
Settling
Mild swelling or bruising can occur and usually settles within one to two weeks. Botox results begin in 3 to 5 days and are full at day 14.
- Two weeks
Review
A complimentary two-week review lets us check the settled result and make any small refinements.
Who treats you
Every treatment at KORA Aesthetics is performed by one of our board-certified nurse practitioners. Our founder, Katie Manhardt, MSN, FNP-C, is a national clinical trainer for Galderma and Prollenium, and every plan begins with a complimentary consultation.
Facial treatment FAQs
Where should I start if I want to look refreshed?
Start with a complimentary consultation. Your nurse practitioner looks at movement, volume and skin quality and recommends the treatments that will make the biggest difference first.
Can I combine Botox and filler in one visit?
Often, yes. Many patients have Botox and filler in the same appointment when it suits their plan.
What is a full-face approach?
It means treating the face as a whole rather than one line at a time, so results look balanced and natural.
How often will I need treatment?
Botox is usually repeated every 3 to 4 months. Fillers and Sculptra last longer, and skin treatments are often done as a series and then maintained.
