Why lips change shape and volume
Lips naturally lose some volume and definition with age as collagen declines, and the border of the upper lip can flatten. Some people have always had thinner lips or a lip that rolls inward when they smile. Others want to refine shape or symmetry rather than size.
We look at the ratio between the upper and lower lip, the border, the cupid's bow and how much lip shows when you smile before deciding on the answer, which may be filler, a few units at the border, or a combination.

We study proportion, border and lip show, and agree on the look you want.

Treatment
Numbing is applied first; treatment takes about 30 to 45 minutes.

Swelling settles
Lips are often swollen for a few days, so avoid judging the result too early.

Complimentary review
We check the settled result and refine if needed.
Lip filler aftercare
- Skip strenuous exercise and heat for the first day to limit swelling.
- Avoid pressing or massaging the lips unless your provider asks you to.
- Call us right away if you notice blanching, increasing pain or color change, so we can assess you promptly.

Can you fix filler from somewhere else?
